Morenci Connects: A Focus on Tailings

Freeport-McMoRan is hosting a series of community meetings to provide information about Morenci Tailings Storage Facilities and receive feedback from the Morenci community about our tailings emergency preparedness and response plans. 

Join us to learn more about our approach to safely and responsibly managing our tailings facilities. You will have the opportunity to meet with Freeport representatives and local emergency management personnel to ask questions and provide valuable input on community emergency preparedness and response planning.

The health and safety of our employees, communities and the environment are a top priority. We strongly encourage your attendance and participation.

Meetings will take place several times a day from Tuesday, March 28 through Saturday, April 1 at the Morenci Club  |  314 Plaza Drive  |  Morenci, AZ.
